Donna has been with Golden Hour for more than 15 years. During that time, she has led customer service and account management for Golden Hour's revenue cycle management customers. She has been engaged in the Air Medical critical care transport industry for more than 25 years, serving in Flight Nurse, Chief Flight Nurse, and Program Director roles. Donna had the opportunity to experience a wide variety of transport environments and crew mixes during her tenure at Loyola Life Star, Stanford Life Flight, and DHART (Dartmouth Hitchcock Advanced Response Team). She has served on the board of directors for the Air and Surface Transport Nurses Association (ASTNA) and the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS). Additionally, she served as President of ASTNA and as a CAMTS Site Surveyor. Donna’s commitment to excellence and safety in critical care transport were acknowledged by AAMS, which presented her with the Marriott Carlson Leadership Award in 2010. Donna holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP), a Master of Science in Nursing, and is a Certified Medical Transport Executive who remains active in advancing the education of safety in transport. Her passion is contributing to innovations and best practices that lead to stronger, safer, and more efficacious care of the ill and injured during transport.
